Huami released the 47mm version of the titanium Amazfit GTR Smartwatch, almost two months after its launch. The Amazfit GTR smartwatch was released on July 16 in two versions – 47 with a 1.39 inch screen and 42 mm with a 1.2 inch screen. The 47mm model has three options for case materials: stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.
The Titanium model has an amazing and durable construction. The titanium plate has the advantages of high hardness, corrosion resistance, lightweight, non-toxicity, and biocompatibility. Titanium is widely used in special manufacturing areas such as aerospace and F1 racing, and even to implant human joints into the human body.
The 47mm Titanium version received a resolution of 454×454 pixels, with a 326 pixels per inch. The display is also protected by tempered Gorilla Glass 3 with anti-fingerprint (AF) coating.
Amazfit GTR is equipped with a heart rate monitor, a pedometer, a stopwatch, an alarm, an accelerometer, and a geomagnetic sensor. The watch can count calories and distance traveled, track sleep phases, remind you to warm up, and display notifications about calls and messages from your smartphone. There is support for GPS and GLONASS for movements tracking, and 12 sports modes. The watch is also protected from water and dust (immersion up to 50m).
The 47mm version got a 410mAh battery that can last almost a month with active use and more than 2 months (74 days) when some sensors are disconnected. This is perhaps the best indicator of autonomy among similar devices.
